Abstract
Review of data governance legislation in train in the European Union reveals a number of potential problems for security operations worldwide. With particular focus on the proposed Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act, this paper explores key tensions between different rights and interests, and initiatives for achieving greater policy and regulatory integration.
