Abstract

This study wants to analyze whether the implementation of the Government's Procurement in Indonesia has applied the Value for Money principle by using the Public Policy Analysis method and the Qualitative Descriptive method. The results showed that the principles of efficient, effective, transparent, open, competitive, fair and accountable on government procurement were not fully implemented. The current procurement implementation turns out to be very less competitive, less transparent and fair among all the principles that have been violated. Based on these results, it is recommended that this research proceed to the Evaluation stage of the Government Procurement Policy.
