Abstract
This Policy Paper examines the danger of growing reconcentration in the U.S. telecoms industry from both a vertical and horizontal perspective. This paper also reviews the Federal Communications Commission's efforts to oversee this growing reconcentration, and finds it analytically wanting and politically driven; all to the detriment of U.S. consumer welfare.
