Abstract

As we know there are many debates concerning globalisation and information society relationship. The idea of this paper has as support the new movements from all life fields recorded in the last years named e-revolution. This (r)evolution was and is imposed by the increasing of society information needs and the reaction rapidity degree of information and communication technology. We can declare that the dynamism of technology development was forced by the society "hunger" concerning the needs of information. By this theme we try to present the main issues concerning the history of globalisation (on short) and the factors that was the engine of information society.
