Advanced Search allows you to conduct a focused search on specific individual data fields or a combination of data fields. In addition, you can narrow your search by SSRN subject area network.
To search papers by:
Title, Abstract, Abstract ID or Keywords: Enter a word, phrase or abstract ID number in the Search Term field.
Exact match: Enclose the exact words or phrase in quotes in the Search Term field.
Title: Select Title Only if you only want to search paper titles.
Author: Enter a name or names in the Author field.
Date: Select a date range from the drop-down list to limit results.
Networks: Select "Modify" to expand the list of subject area networks and select which one(s) to include in the search.
To remember your Network preferences and apply them by default when you use Advanced Search, check the "Remember this" checkbox after you have selected the one or more subject networks you want saved. You must sign in to SSRN HQ or have cookies enabled to use this feature.
To remove your default Network preferences, uncheck "Remember this".
This option allows you to search the Full Text PDF documents of almost all of the scholarly papers on SSRN. This beta implementation is not perfect, but we hope you find it useful. The search terms that you enter will be searched as if you specified an exact match. An excerpt will be displayed in the search result displaying the first time the search terms appeared in the abstract or the full text.
We welcome your feedback on this feature, which you can give in the top left of the search page, by clicking "Feedback to SSRN". For more information about full text search, see FAQ.
