Federal Reserve Bank of New York Research Paper Series

The Research Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York publishes technical working papers by staff economists in its Staff Reports series. These papers, in some cases written in collaboration with outside authors, represent work that is intended for later publication in leading economics and finance journals or presentation at professional meetings.

The Economic Policy Review is a policy-oriented journal focusing on macroeconomic, banking, and financial market topics. It publishes new research by New York Fed economists, papers by affiliated economists, and the proceedings of Bank-sponsored conferences.

A third series -- Liberty Street Economics -- publishes analysis from New York Fed economists and coauthors on a wide scope of academic and policy topics such as monetary policy, financial stability, inequality and equitable growth, the economics of climate change, and regional economics. Launched in 2011, Liberty Street Economics has been featured on SSRN since June 2023. Posts display 0 Downloads since there is no associated PDF.
