Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) Research Paper Series

The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) is a government-funded economic research institute concerning the international economy and its relationship with Korea. KIEP advises the government on all major international economic policy issues. Further, KIEP carries out research by request from outside institutions and organizations on all areas of the Korean and international economies. With our affiliates including the Korea Economic Institute of America (KEI) in Washington, D.C. and the KIEP Beijing office, we have been striving to conduct comprehensive research on world economic events and to provide crucial and timely information on Asian economies.

The KIEP Research Paper Series is the works by the Institute's highly knowledgeable economic research fellows with PhDs in economics from international graduate programs and many supporting staffs. The Series covers the rapidly changing economic landscape of Asia and further integration of the world's economies with publications in 7 categories: EAER, Policy Analysis, Conference Proceedings, Policy References, APEC Study Series, Working Papers, Monograph, and World Economy Brief. These papers are also available on KIEP's webpage. We are confident that KIEP's policy proposals for greater international economic cooperation will contribute to the field of economic research.
