Pride

Pride month is celebrated globally in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Resistance at the Stonewall Inn in New York City, marking the beginning of a movement to outlaw discriminatory laws and practices against the LGBTQ+ community. SSRN’s Pride Month Hub highlights early-stage research related to the pursuit of equal justice, equal opportunities, and greater acceptance for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ+) individuals. We are proud to showcase research that may challenge the bias and inequalities that remain in order to create a more inclusive world.
