Ideas:
“  I'm currently finishing a book for Oxford University Press titled Criminalizing Sex: A Unified Liberal Theory. The goal of the book is to develop a unified conceptual framework for criminalizing both nonconsensual offenses such as rape, sexual assault, voyeurism, and indecent exposure, and putatively consensual and aconsensual offenses like prostitution, adult incest, sadomasochistic assault, bestiality, and necrophilia. The theory is liberal in the sense that it subscribes to the principle that criminal sanctions can be justified only when they will efficiently prevent wrongful harm (or possibly “offense”) to others (or possibly self). The book will seek to show the various ways in which current law is both under- and overinclusive with respect to the kinds of sexual conduct covered, and often inconsistent in how it deals with the concepts of consent and nonconsent.  ”
