My work primarily delves into labor markets from both empirical and theoretical standpoints, as well as political economy. My research agenda aims to re-examine enduring questions in macro and labor economics while also tackling new ones that arise from recent evidence on employer and worker search processes. To do this, I combine theoretical models with data drawn from online job boards, administrative records, and surveys. I have also done applied research to significant policy discussions, including the reduction of standard weekly work hours, the labor skill certification system, labor training policy, and the use of Large Language Models to online job board data for assessing labor market occupations.
