Ideas:
“  I am currently working on a project with an interdisciplinary Pension Advisory Group (PAG) whose ultimate aim is to produce an authoritative guide to good practice on pensions and divorce. The field of pensions and divorce is a complex one and what little guidance there is from case law is somewhat contradictory and tends to be geared towards big money cases. The guide is intended to be applicable to the vast majority of smaller, needs-based cases, and to be of use to the judiciary, practitioners and litigants in person. The PAG includes judges, QCs, barristers, family and pension solicitors, a mediator, academics and a variety of pension experts experienced in this field. We are looking at three interlocking areas of practice: legal; valuation and offsetting; and expert engagement and regulation. We will consult widely before finalising the good practice guide. The project is partially funded by the Nuffield Foundation and has been accredited by the Family Justice Council.  ”
