“  Paper in Progress: "Improving Technical Analysis Using Behavioral Finance" Abstract: Technical analysis was developed By Charles Dow around the turn of the nineteenth century, and unlike efficient market theory, was based on assumptions about investors' behavior. In the second decade of the twenty-first century, great advances in understanding investors' behavior have occurred. This begs the question --- can technical analysis be revised to accommodate modern developments in behavioral finance? This article answers in the affirmative and develops technical indicators to support this assertion.  ”
