Ideas:
“  My research focuses on the interplay of science and law, largely in the broad categories of environmental law, natural resources law, and administrative law. My scholarship has two goals – to advance the field of law and to be useful to practicing lawyers, judges, and policy makers in the environmental field. My research has also led me to explore themes of significance in the broader legal academy, like agency decision making, federalism, the role of geography in law, societal norms in law, and international law. Environmental law is a young field and an actively developing area of practice, and as our environmental challenges evolve, environmental law must continue to evolve with them. I produce scholarship that addresses issues at the forefront of this evolution.  ”
