Ideas:
“  The life science industry has had compliance programs and officers for over 25 years. However, we still see the same types of negative behaviors occurring. This suggests that Compliance Officers really are not in a position to influence senior executive malfeasance. Have compliance programs made a meaningful positive improvement or are they simply box-checking exercises? Was this what the authors of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines envisioned when they wrote the 7 Elements of an Effective Compliance Program in 1991?  ”
