Currently, within a joint project of Human Rights Clinic under the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and Independet Living Institute I work on a topic which basically argues that in Sweden the needs assessment process is realized in a manner that fails to ensure full enjoyment of the right to personal assistance under Article 19 of the UN Conveniton on Rights of Disabled Persons. Additionally, the research argues that home visits as a form of the needs assessment infringe the right to protection of integrity of disabled persons which is guaranteed in Article 17 of the Convention.
