Ideas:
“  I'm currently working on the insights that my research can provide to fight the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. First, I am proposing a series of policies governments can implement to mobilize the state apparatus to coordinate a rapid response and to reduce the shock to the private sector, without increasing state intervention and statization/nationalization in the long run. Second, I am drawing lessons from the insights we have on the 1918 flu pandemic in Brazil (the so-called Spanish Flu Pandemic) to help developing countries see what to do and not do to and to help them understand that these pandemics have long term consequences on developmental outcomes like education.  ”
