Ideas:
“  Presently I am working on a reconsideration of the customary reception of Aristotle’s concept of “distributive justice”. It is described in his _Nicomachean Ethics_ (NE) V,3. In my interpretation, Aristotle does not consider this concept as necessarily delivering social justice. In NE V,5 Aristotle cautions against a superficial application of this concept because that might not lead to equitable results. Aristotle’s point is that rules of justice are essential but they must be adapted to individual cases of social life by considerations of equity. In that case the divergence of income levels in a society should be constrained so as to assure a fair distribution of income shares.  ”
