“  I am currently working on how IP can interfere with a circular economy. Does IP promote sustainability and circularity or, at times, hinder them? If so, are there robust exceptions to IP rights or should we step back and rethink the role of IP in a circular economy? Today, the "progress of science and useful arts" has to include sustainability, and thus circularity. How IP fits in the picture, and maybe should be adapted, is the focus of my interest.  ”
