He received his PhD from Bristol Robotics Laboratory and has over 20 years experience in industry and academia. His research and teaching encompass the trust and acceptance of emerging technologies, with an emphasis on automated vehicles, shared mobility, and human-machine interfaces. As the co-director of the Centre for Doctoral Training, he oversees the education of doctoral researchers specialising in intelligent and electrified mobility systems. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  ”
