Environmental, Energy, and International Law.
Lawyer (J.D) and LL.M. in Regulatory Law (maximum distinction) from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Environmental and Energy Law LL.M. (distinction) and S.J.D. (Law PhD) from Georgetown University. Law Fellow at the Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development.
I’m currently focused on climate litigation and complex environmental, energy, and regulatory crossovers during rule-making procedures and policy-making. I’m particularly interested in the role of regulations within the right to a healthy environment, climate engineering, electricity transmission expansion, and how regulatory structures work (or not) in the face of emerging challenges such as the call for a just transition and climate change governance.
