“  My current research focuses on migratory outflows of U.S. citizens, including asylum-seeking, pressured migration, and exit planning in the face of adverse or deteriorating conditions. I am studying the causes and implications of these migratory moves, along with the legal processes invoked. My earlier work explores different dimensions of U.S. and comparative immigration law and of the migrant experience.  ”
