Abstract

Geoffrey Stone's wonderful new addition to the growing post-9/11 literature on free speech in wartime covers the history of the American experience with this phenomenon, offers insightful and instructive vignettes on the law's selective operation, and recommends a look to history as a guide to future conduct.
