This paper underlines the importance of studies made on reprezentatives parts of a colectivity in order to obtain all the information for the management decision in touristic field. After a brief presentation of Suceava's touristic potential, the results of a marketing research shows which is the profile for the tourist comming in Suceava and what are the suggestions for improuving the touristic activity.
