Abstract

This paper looks into sub section of the chemical industry i.e. basic chemical industry (NIC 241) in India and does a thorough analysis of the sector from 1993 to 2006. This sub group includes inorganic chemicals, organic chemicals, fertilizers and basic plastic products. It not only does sector analysis but also sub sector analysis.
