Abstract

It is in every lawyer's best interest to know the ten legal remedies available for violations of the law governing lawyers: professional discipline, tort liability to clients, criminal accountability, misrepresentation, tort liability to nonclients, ineffective assistance of counsel, fee forfeiture, sanctions, disqualification, and loss of contractual rights.
