Abstract

The articles explores the nature of the term "thinking like a lawyer" by developing the pedagogical assumptions packed into that phrase by legal educators. I conclude that "thinking like a lawyer" is an ontological concept that is designed to introduce law students to the profession by indoctrinating them into the basic professional and lived experiences of others in the domain.
