Abstract

This paper is dedicated to the topic of the violation of the rights of trade unions in Latin America, and more specifically in some selected countries that are particularly interesting for our analysis. Latin America is surely one of the most fascinating parts of the world, and in many situations is also one of the main tragic areas of the globe. Continent of big revolutions and hopes and, at the same time, of big tragedies, both from the economic and social point of view. Continent of violent contrasts, where richness and poverty live together, where the border between conscience of his own rights and total ignorance of the basic requirements for a decent and fair work is many times very thin.

Keywords: Labour, trade unions, Latin America, violations, rights
