Abstract
A recent study by the RAND Corporation of the post-secondary education opportunities available in Qatar in relation to the nation's economic development needs revealed interesting trends regarding Qatari women in the workforce. This paper explores some of those trends by addressing such important questions as what occupations Qatari women are entering, what their attitudes are toward working outside the home, and to what extent are they being educated for workforce participation.
