Abstract
This paper looks at the incorporation of uniform law through arbitration. An overview of both the procedural and the substantive aspects of arbitration as a vehicle of harmonization is first provided in the context of the Canadian legal systems. The paper then looks at the status of arbitration practice vis-a-vis arbitration law and its incorporation, emphasising the respective roles of experts and courts.
