Since private enterprises in China are heading for global competition, the importance of corporate communications is constantly increasing. Traditionally, Chinese companies, especially state-owned enterprises, have not been enthusiastic in terms of exploring corporate communications. But the challenges of internationalization lead Chinese enterprises into new communication dimensions. This article analyses the wall that currently exists between management and communication in many Chinese companies, how it is being changed and broken down, and what still needs to happen.
