Abstract

In this study, it is discussed whether this crisis is the hegemony war of USA or not, by moving from the idea that the crisis experienced recently can be considered as a great depression. In this discussion, the theoretical structure of the great depression and the historical dimension of the crisis were taken into consideration and while we examine the great depression within the framework of oil prices and hegemony war, we will use mortgage credits, current deficits and budget deficits as key concepts.
