Non-Observed Economy in Tourism (in Bulgarian)

Abstract

The paper presents an overview of non-observed economic activities in tourism and the methodologies to measure them. Non-observed economic activities are divided into informal economy in tourism, own productions of tourist goods and services for own final consumption by the households, hidden and illegal economic activities, statistically hidden activities.

Non-observed economy in tourism has both positive and negative impacts on residents’ welfare and should not be treated one-sided (report in Bulgarian language).
