Abstract
This article seeks to present the global trends in forex derivatives markets; trace the possible reasons for growth in these markets; look at the developments in India in this regard and finally focus on the recently launched exchange traded currency futures markets in the country. In this last section some details of the trends in currency futures segment of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) are presented.
