Abstract

Scope of using Internet through mobile phone is certainly a gift of modern technology. Gradually it’s being popular to Bangladeshi mobile phone subscribers who have explored its usefulness. In case of mobile internet (MI), generally a question arises, is it really very needed product to all levels of people? Are the subscribers using the services appropriately? Is there any scope/practice of abuse of this unique technology? To find out the answer of these questions, the study has been done. It is found that the potential subscribers, especially the youngsters are very positive towards this product. They are getting different types of services from MI. But it has many limitations; disturbance in speed, high cost, for individual, is major of them. Some guidelines like strong policy, accessibility etc. have been recommended to ensure more useful MI services.
