Abstract

Studies of L. Fleck, T.S. Kuhn, and N.R. Hanson on the nature of scientific development and thus of a scientific fact, despite their differences, has raised new questions in fields as diverse as the history of science, sociology of science and philosophy of scientific language. At the same time, have pointed unfounded assumptions underlying the current ideas about what are 'facts', and have suggested alternative ways to focus the epistemology of scientific knowledge. Let us identify some detail the implications that flow from our study in this chapter for the proposed research as hypotheses.
