Rule-Breaking from Creativity to Illegality: A Trans-Disciplinary Inquiry

Abstract
Illegality consists of confronting formal and explicit rules. Creativity consists of confronting informal social institutions. We argue that both cases imply a rule-breaking process. Several unexplored questions related to historical and social dimensions of those concepts arise when analyzing psychological similarities between illegality and creativity.
