Abstract
This paper examines the Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Meeting programs from 1996 through 2012. During this seventeen year time period, 2,107 unique (different) institutions are represented on the FMA program. Georgia State University has the most authors on the FMA program during this time period. There are 8,992 unique authors. There are 93 authors with 17 papers on the FMA program during the time period, which averages to one paper per year during the study. However, only three authors actually had one or more papers on the program during all seventeen years of our study. We compare the papers published in Financial Management to the presentations listed in the FMA programs and find that slightly more than 41% of papers published in Financial Management are also presented at the FMA meetings.
