Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present two distinct collaborative learning experiences - one from a mid-level and another from an introductory political science course - to demonstrate that both the process of using CLMS is often one of trial and error and that even when incorporating all the “necessary” elements, challenges may still arise. I will also show that by and large, collaborative learning has been overwhelmingly beneficial and as such, is worth any additional effort.
