Abstract

This article (in German) provides an overview of the Arbitration Rules of the China International Economic and Trade Commission (CIETAC), the most important arbitration institution in the People's Republic of China. It focusses on the CIETAC Rules' new features that were first adopted in the Rules' version of 1 May 2005, and discusses their impact on arbitration procedures with foreign (i.e. non-Chinese) parties.
