Abstract
This report examines the repercussions of citizenship laws on Palestinian identity, and in case of the establishment of a Palestinian state, the repercussions on Palestinian nationality. I trace the origin of Palestinian nationhood, common identity, and peoplehood and show how state laws that were or still in force on parts of Palestine had shaped it.
