Abstract
Taqwa (God-consciousness) is a core Islamic notion. Ramadan is the month during which the obligatory fasting takes place. The Qur'an is the revealed and one of the primary sources of guidance in Islam. In this essay the triangular link between Taqwa, Ramadan and the Qur'an is explored in the context of the Islamic ethical system.
