Abstract

In this paper, the author, a practitioner-academician, highlights and examines the various motivational ideas and insights in relation to the Chinese philosopher and Master strategist, Sun Tzu’s (Sun Zi’s) notion of motivation in his Art of War treatise. At times, the author, using examples, also imports and illustrates how a country’s rulers can motivate its people.
