Abstract

Tom Jenkins, manager of Quality Services at Amore Frozen Foods (see QA-0317), must decide which of two processes to use for his macaroni-and- cheese filling machines. The students must use SPC analysis. The key learning point, in addition to the uses of control charts, is the difference between control and capability.
