Abstract

There’s no need to reinvent the wheel with legal research. Legal treatises provide expert analysis and citations to primary and secondary sources on a variety of legal topics. All of this can help jumpstart legal research, saving legal researchers valuable time. Written for Student Lawyer, this column discusses the benefits of using legal treatises and encourages law students to become familiar with this important legal research tool.
