Abstract

This symposium celebrates the 100th anniversary of the publication of Samuel Warren and Louis Brandeis’ Right of Privacy published in 1890. The issues range from protection from the press to the influence of technology and discusses the subsequent commentaries, such as those of Prosser and Blaustein, which addressed the original article. The symposium uses these guideposts to track the development of the right to privacy over the last hundred years.
