Abstract

This paper seeks to maintain this purpose. Its aim is to study the rhetoric of independence, understanding rhetoric is not a figure of speech, but the logical units of discourse that accompanied the reactionary actions of the nineteenth century. The rhetorical repertoires played a vital role in the events of Independence, the more so because the explanation must relate causal links, assumptions and arguments that must be confronted, not with other facts, but with other texts, representations and rhetoric. Moreover, the celebration of Independence is also a celebration of the power of words.

The division of our paper is as follows: (1) study the relations between explanation and rhetoric in history (2) describes the rhetoric in Independence, (3) observed links between the rhetoric and the geographical imagination; (4) highlights aspects of the confrontation between centralization and decentralization, (5) are differentiated the rhetoric in the social class conflict, and (6) concludes with some comments in this historiography.
