Abstract

This paper assesses the abilities of courts currently to resolve property disputes in the Episcopal Church USA, arguing that current establishment clause jurisprudential limitations necessitate that churches seek internal resolution of these matters and rely less upon secular courts as a result. It makes various suggestions towards improving the current practices.
