Abstract

Bilski v. Kappos was a patent law case that captured the attention of not just intellectual property scholars, but also the business world, mainstream media, and even the Supreme Court. After waiting nearly 7 months from argument, the Court handed down the Bilski opinion. This brief essay does not comment on the case itself, but is rather a satirical look at the hype that surrounded the case and the let down that followed from the opinion's release.
