Abstract

This analysis provides an overview of the European Court of Justice's decision-making in the field of labour law in 2009. It analyses in greater detail the three most striking developments of 2009: the relationship between annual leave and sick leave in the Working-Time Directive; non-regression clauses in EU labour law; three significant decisions on collective redundancies.
