Abstract
The Legend goes like this: A Frog in water, which is put on fire, slowly loses its life, being slowly boiled down to death. While if it were thrown into hot waters already placed on fire, it would expeditiously jump away, preempting the heat, visible in the evolving steam.
We are indeed like frogs.Ignorant to slow Change.Since a slow Change does not cast a visible shadow, its threats overshoot unnoticed. In no time we are in danger. There is however solace in some invisible power that can protect us. Always! And that is the value system which has a strong protective cover around us.
There has been a continual emergence of Gurus on the horizon of societal service. Be they Quality blessers or religious leaders. It is uncontested that their effort is directed to a realization of man’s right to a harmonious Quality of life for which the Value System Quality is a prerequisite.
This work is an attempt to link societal development within the domain of positive and negative pulls acting over the society, and delves as to how we can scathe out easily.
